What you are looking at is an brand new hand made Native Arabian costume. Made by me of Leslie's Little Treasures. The colors are a pastel green, pink and very very light purple with dark blue accents. It has a total of 64 genuine Swarovski crystals and a total of 74 hand-tied tassels on it. This costume was made for a dark gray Arab but it does look very well on a bay as you can see Padron. It will fit the Stone Arab the best, but I am sure that it will fit other similar sized models.
The breast collar is not what you would think it is. It completely hand woven into one piece, not two braids sewn together. Each tassel is hand tied and secured with superglue.
The bridle is also and woven with ten tiny tassels on it. The nose band is of sterling silver chain and tiny sharks teeth on it. The teeth and the bit are both from Rio Rondo and very eye catching. The head stall is adjustable but it ideally for the Stone Arabian. What you see is a clear rubber band holding the horse's noseband because I didn't have have any sticky wax. So don't worry, it really isn't part of the costume, it's just there for my use. The reins and the loop around the horse's neck is of a four sided, for stand rope braid, not that of the typical flat three strand braid.
The drape is made a bit differently. Instead of one piece draping over the sides of the horse the one piece actually covers the hips and the side pieces are added, you know just to be a bit different. The stirrups are pewter by Rio Rondo with 16 hand tied tassels on each side. The saddle is hand made out of Sculpy and covered with a braided rope covering. The side of the drape is originally a doll house Turkish rug. There is a bit of a blow up to see some of the details. The girth is an elastic band with a Bra clip for quick costume changes. This same elastic also is attached to the stirrups. And black trim around the blue part of the drape.
